Monkey Knife Fight

InfluencesParamore, Nothing But Thieves, Hockey Dad, Slowly Slowly,
Bio Monkey Knife Fight have smashed into the scene boasting tenacity and energy throughout their music, they’re ready to rock your socks off. Since their conception in Sydney’s beaches these four mates have brought together their energy and collective passion for making a ruckus and turned it into something truly infectious. Being compared to the likes of Paramore, Killing Heidi, these young rockers are bringing a fresh take on the classic alt- rock form of early 00’s, infusing synth textures and pop sensibilities into their distortion driven sound. Monkey Knife Fight took no time to hit the stage in 2019, supporting some of their all-time favourite acts, supporting Georgia June, Hockey Dad and Mako Road. In November they brought their feisty energy to the festival line up “A Day For The Beaches” alongside Ocean Alley, Dear Seattle and Eagle Eye Jones, in support of One Eighty and the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. The band was stoked by their well received debut single "Icy Shoulders" in April and cannot wait to release their next one, "Seeing Red", on 7 April 2020. Stir some crunchy guitars to a driving beat, throw soaring pop vocals over the top, sprinkle of synth to spice, and grace your ears with Monkey Knife Fight.
